7th Winchester Scout Group
How to use these numbers: Focus on the Vacancies number. Then look to the Joining List number (those of joining age for that section registered ahead of you). It is better to APPLY to Scout Groups with high Vacancies and low Joining Lists. Use the Scout Group locator on the left to find the Groups closest to you by area. When you find the Group that best fits your needs, click the blue APPLY HERE icon to make your Registration of Interest (above left). Improve your chances of an offer by volunteering as a parent for an adult role. Some Groups may require this.
The closest Groups are the 8th & 12th (click on their neckers below).

The 7th Winchester Scout Group was resurrected in 2012. It has a thriving Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop serving St Cross and the surrounding areas of Winchester.
The Beavers and Cubs meet at St Faiths Parish hall and the Scouts meet at Badger Farm Community Centre. All sections meet on Tuesdays. We aim to run fun and adventurous activities across all age groups and hold whole Group activities and camps on occasion as well as joining in with District activities.
As a relatively small Group we rely on most of our parents helping out in some capacity. New leaders are always welcome but if that’s not your thing then there are plenty of other vital roles to keep the Group going. Our philosophy is to spread the work amongst many volunteers in order to not overly impact on any person.
