What is the Emlyn competition?
The Emlyn Trophy is awarded for a camping competition run over the course of a weekend. Teams are allocated a site and camp as a patrol for the weekend. The event is held yearly and open to teams from all districts. The weekend is scored generally on camping and cooking, with a special project trophy running alongside. There is also a special project which changes each year. There is also the opportunity for districts to enter a non-competitive training team.
When is it?
This year Emlyn will be held from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th September 2023
Where is it?
The competition will be at Lyon’s Copse campsite.
